After the Chandrila fiasco, they moved to another city on the planet (where they’d been planning to head anyway). There, they tracked down the Imperials they were looking for. No children this time, but they found the smuggling ring, along with an Imperial ship that hadn't yet taken on cargo. The crew tried to sneak onto the ship, but failed.
So it ended up in another confrontation, but this one turned sour. Turned out, one of the officers was a high-class android. And boy, was he one bad SOB! The crew was skirmishing with some Stormtroopers at the base of the Imperial ship when the droid-officer came down behind them, smashing everything that got in his way and making the Troopers flee willingly into the arms of the crew. They surrendered for their own survival. The Jedi fought the droid back long enough for Oola to trap him on his own ship, and then they grabbed the Troopers, piled into the Starwind, and ran the hell away.
But the Imperial ship followed them, with the hole in. Of course, since the guy was actually a droid, he didn’t need to breathe, and he apparently didn't give a damn about the rest of his crew. In space, he jumped from his ship onto the Starwind and got inside to confront the crew. A truly bad confrontation was headed off by a timely strike from Ree, who cut his head off with her lightsaber. Whew! That was close.
Once they dumped them into the brig, they learned that one of the Stormtroopers they’d captured was their old friend, Zan. He was much more reluctant to give them information this time, sensing that he’d remain free (more or less) only so long as he had useful knowledge to impart. Still, he did give them some intel on where to find the phantom ship that Lydia had told them about. He said it had been harrying the Imperials, most often seen along a certain part of the spaceways. He refused to give them any more information unless they took him along. The crew figured he was harmless enough, and were sure they could handle him, so they agreed.

It's Miraluka, not Miraluca. And Ree's captive didn't die. She dragged him out of the way before his neck got broken. You also forgot the cyborg assassin who got literally fried by the ship (SAR's modifications to the defense system) before he could get in.
